To export a console configuration

1. In the console tree, click Windows Media Services.
2. On the Action menu, click Export console configuration.
3. In the Save As dialog box, enter a name for the console configuration and then click Save. The console configuration file must be saved with an .xml file name extension. By default, the file is saved to %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools.

Server and group data for the current console will be stored in the file.
